Global Airline Industry’s Innovation Efforts After Covid-19 by Joosung Lee in Integrative Journal of Conference Proceedings This short article examines the impact of COVID-19 on the airline industry and the industry’s responses to recover and further innovate its service offerings. Various cases of airline revenue models are discussed via actual measures taken by some of global airlines. This overview can provide insights to revitalize the industry with new business models. The impact of COVID-19 can be seen on every industry globally. However, amongst all sectors the airline industry has been hit extremely hard by the COVID-19 outbreak-even harder than by the events of 9/11 and the 2008 financial crisis put together. An Evolutionary View of the Concept of Sustainable Development_ Crimson Publishers

An Evolutionary View of the Concept of Sustainable Development by Datta Soumyendra Kishore in Integrative Journal of Conference Proceedings The genesis of the notion of sustainable development can be traced back to historical context. Western modernist ideas and faith in progress of economies and societies can be considered as synonymous and reinforcing each other. In the latter part of seventeenth century French scientist Fentenelle first advocated the tremendous potency of the notion of progress and presaged that the mankind through the idea of science and technology, was on the threshold of stepping foot on a road of necessary and limitless growth. During the enlightenment period and subsequently through the extension of the writings of Condorcet, Turgot, Marx etc, the view of advancement reached the pinnacle. The synergy between the idea of progress and modern science began to be upheld and it was recognized that human mastery over nature and natural resources can be possible by tr...

Vascular Surgical Anatomical Notes Related to The Insular Lobe _ Crimson Publishers

Image
Vascular Surgical Anatomical Notes Related to The Insular Lobe by Behzad Saberi in Integrative Journal of Conference Proceedings There is a close relationship between MCA and insula which is deeply located in the brain and such position and relationship, make surgical access to it to be more restricted. MCA supplies blood to the insular cortex. M1 part of the MCA via the lateral lenticulostriate arteries, supplies the underlying internal capsule and basal ganglia. M2 part of the MCA supplies the actual insular cortex. Branches of the distal M1 and opercular M3 parts of the MCA, occasionally supply the insular cortex either. Avoiding to compromise the M2 part, is of surgical importance because it would be in the central sulcus and would supply it and also the precentral and postcentral gyri. Vascular injuries during insular surgery in some parts, can cause motor deficit without directly affecting and causing lesions to the internal capsule. Primary motor-sensory cortex vascular compromi...

Identification of Drug Therapy Problem in Adult Hypertensive Patients in A Nigerian Tertiary Hospital by Ukoha-kalu blessing O in Integrative Journal of Conference Proceedings   Background:   An event involving drug therapy that actually or potentially interferes with the desired health outcomes is known as drug therapy problem. Objective:  The study aimed to identify drug related problems encountered by hypertensive patients receiving care in a Nigeria Tertiary Hospital. Methods:  This study was a retrospective analysis of the medical records of Adult hypertensive patients. A total of 171 patient folders were used for the study. The data were collected from the patients’ medical records using the Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (PCNE) Classification tool Version 6.2 (PCNE, 2010). For each of the 171 medical records, the DTPs experienced within the study period were identified. The demographic information such as age and gender were recorded. Other items documente...

Dry Eye Disease: A Comprehensive Review _ Crimson Publishers

Image
Dry Eye Disease: A Comprehensive Review by Raju Kaiti in Integrative Journal of Conference Proceedings Dry eye is ubiquitous but under diagnosed ocular morbidity. Many people didn’t recognize or refuse this ocular morbidity due to inadequate knowledge, but now our understanding of DED has improved dramatically over the last 20 years with advancements in research .Dry eye disease is multifactorial disease of tear film and ocular surface that result in discomfort, visual disturbance and tear film instability with possible damage to ocular surface. Tear film is a complex mixture of substance secreted from the multiple sources on the ocular surface, including lacrimal gland, meibomian glands and goblet cells. As the population ages, the prevalence of dry eye is likely to increase, yet the condition is often underrecognized and undertreated. This comprehensive review article describes our current knowledge and understanding of the causes and interprets the detail information on definition, ...

The Spread of Coronavirus in The Air _ Crimson Publishers

Image
The Spread of Coronavirus in The Air by Solomon I Khmelnik in Integrative Journal of Conference Proceedings The question of how the coronavirus spreads in the air is being considered. It is shown that the existing ideas about the spread of the virus as particles are unconvincing. It is shown that the coronavirus can spread as an electromagnetic wave modulated by the natural frequency of the coronavirus. Numerous analogies are pointed out. Possible methods of dealing with the pandemic are proposed, which require studying the physics of the propagation of high-frequency electromagnetic waves in the air and the interaction of organic molecules through the exchange of electromagnetic radiation. The person is infected with the coronavirus but does not yet know about it. A few days later, it turns out that all those who were with him in the same large room are infected with the coronavirus. How many viruses did this person shed (at a very early stage) and how quickly did they spread in the a...

Art Therapy with Interactive Viewing Will Bring Empathy Leading to Health and Care by Hiroshi Bando in Integrative Journal of Conference Proceedings Integrative medicine (IM) has attracted worldwide attention in recent years. From the perspective of art therapy, there will be some changes in art in hospitals, medicine, medical practice and medical education. Authors have developed art in hospitals using masking tapes. Originally, hospitals and museums have a lot in common. There is professional in the museum, a curator which is from the Latin word curare, meaning care. Through interactive viewing, natural empathy would be obtained for the feelings and thinking of other people. Empathy would be a high-level “caring” in the clinical setting associated with stable logic and objectivity. Integrative medicine (IM) has attracted worldwide attention in recent years. It is an area that combines the strengths of Western Medicine (WM) and Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM). Their pract...
